FAITH EVANS | Unplugged @ The Park—Friday, May 27, 5- 11 pm The Park at Fourteenth, 920 14th St NW. This Friday the Queen and first female artist to sign with Bad Boy takes the Park Unplugged stage. With hits dating back to 1994, Faith Evans has been a staple in the R&B scene. This singer and songwriter was the voice on many of the hits during the 90s that came from the Bad Boy camp. She even tossed her hat into the acting game and also pinned an autobiography: Keep the Faith: A Memoir. Take a stroll down memory lane.


Rhythmatic Imagery—Saturday, May 28, 7-10 pm at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, 1020 South Street, Philadelphia, PA.  Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens has teamed up with Rhyme Street Magazine to present a night of dance-inspiring hip-hop and thought-provoking poetry during May’s Music & Mosaic Concert Series at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. The Music & Mosaics Concert Series is Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens’ BYOB concert series held every fourth Saturday of the month. Concerts feature local artists of every style, from bossa nova to bluegrass. Admission is $10/adults and $7/members and students.

Memorial Day Commemoration—Monday, May 30, 9 am- 3pm at Valley Forge National Historical Park, 1400 N. Outer Line Drive Rt 23 and North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406. Everyone is invited to join Park Staff and the Friends of Valley Forge Park as we reflect and honor those who have served, and are currently serving, our country. A Walk of Remembrance will commence at the Visitor Center at 9am and walk with a Park Ranger along the Joseph Plumb Martin Trail placing flags at monuments and learning their historical significance. Later in the day, enjoy some patriotic music and gather along-side armed service representatives for a wreath-laying ceremony and national moment of silence at 3 PM at the National Memorial Arch.
