Our favorite indiestry SANGER, Yahzarah (of course), will perform on Jan. 1, 2011 at Blues Alley in Washington, DC.  Yahzarah, AKA Ms. Purple St. James, will pay tribute to Mr. Purple Rain himself— Prince!!
The shows will feature many of the hits from the Prince's 34-year-music career.

Showtimes at  8pm and 10pm. Tickets are $25. The first show is already sold out, and the second is approaching, according to Yahzarah's Twitter page. So HURRY UP and BUY!!

"Drink & a Movie Night"—Black Cat will offer $3 shots and show amazingly bad movies Sunday at 8:30 p.m. The event is free. Black Cat is located at 1811 14th St. NW.

Data Dog, Rifle Recoil, Your Children Is Beautiful, and DDIILLIIAANN will perform an all-ages show at New York's Silent Barn on Sunday, Jan. 2. The cost is $5. The show will begin at 8 p.m. Silent Barn is located at 915 Wyckoff Avenue, Ridgewood, NY.
