New Album: Foreign Exchange-"Authenticity"

The Grammy-nominated duo The Foreign Exchange released its third album today. That’s right. The highly anticipated LP, “Authenticity,” is finally here!

The group’s second album, “Leave It All Behind,” seemed to go in a completely new direction stylistically from that of the group’s debut LP “Connected.” Critics and fans alike view “Connected” as a hip hop- meets-soul album and “Leave It All Behind” as an album with a more rhythm and blues focus.

Well, if you enjoyed “Leave It All Behind,” the album which garnered Grammy nods, than you’re sure to love “Authenticity.”

“Authenticity” seems to stay in the same lane as its predecessor—just perhaps at a different speed.  In other words, “Authenticity” is a more mature version of “Leave It All Behind.” It appears to pick up where the last album left off as opposed to switching gears entirely as was done between the group's first two albums.

But don’t just take what we say at face value. You be the judge!
