We (The Indiestry Execs) would like to thank you for your continued support of the journey that we embarked on in October 2009. We overcame a number of obstacles that could have derailed our independent artistry movement.  We swam through a sea of low resources, financial woes, other responsibilities, important deadlines and more, but we did not drown.  

The “Do-It-Yourself” issue of The Indiestry Magazine is near and dear to our hearts. Like Christopher “KP” Brown, Emily Day , Chuck Nunley, Gates, Stephanie Humphrey, and a number of the small business owners and entrepreneurs who are featured in this issue, we are doing it ourselves.

As you can imagine, it is hard to manage a day job and a 24/7 independent artistry movement, but we truly believe in your talent and hard work. We believe that an independent singer or rapper is just as good—if not better than a signed artist. We believe that a number of “mom and pop” stores and small businesses can have high quality products. We believe in you and we will continue to.

Never forget: “The world is your stage. The Indiestry is your spotlight.”
