Call for film entries ends August 15: The 2010 Alexandria Film Festival
Are you an indie filmmaker? Do you think your films have what it takes to win a film festival? If you answered yes to these questions, consider entering your work in the 2010 Alexandria Film Festival!
The Alexandria Commission for the Arts and the Office of the Arts will present the 4th annual ALEXANDRIA FILM FESTIVAL, November 4 – 7, 2010. The Festival brings high-quality short and feature length films, documentaries, filmmaker panels, and arts presentations to Alexandria, Va.
Film Types
- Narrative Feature (TRT 40+ minutes)
- Documentary – Narrative that is a factual and accurate approach to its subject.
- Animated – All genres – drawn, digital, and claymation – are acceptable.
- Short (TRT 39 minutes or less)
Selection of Winners and Prizes
Films will be selected by a jury. Selected films will be eligible for the Best of Show ($500), Jury Prize ($300) and the Audience Award ($200). Winners will be announced at the Film Festival’s Award Ceremony on November 7, 2010.
Entries: Accepted until August 15, 2010, midnight. Entry fees are $45 for feature films and $35 for shorts.
