Last Poets @ Blues Alley...Tonight!!!
The Last Poets have been rocking the world with their spoken word pieces for decades. Dubbed the "founding fathers of Hip-Hop" because of their use of call and response and drums, the artists do not shy away from social, racial and gender issues. Come out to Washington, D.C.'s Blues Alley TONIGHT (July 19) to watch history in the present. There will be a show at 8 pm and a show at 10 pm. The cost is $25. Blues Alley is located at 1073 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, D.C.
