The Columbia Festival of the Arts (www.columbiafestival.com) kicks off on Friday, June 11, with "LakeFest". This event features a weekend of free events geared toward the whole family. Come out and see artwork by local artists, and stay for the Kinetic Art Parade. Add to your home library with a visit to the BookFest (Book fair). This weekend, the Can a Sista Rock a Mic? Festival (CASRAM) goes into full-swing: On Friday, June 11, don't miss a night of all-female artistry (including fashion, DJs, singing, graphic design, and more).There will also be live performances by Carolyn Malachi and Megan Livingston. Summer Love Fest: CASRAM marks the start of summer with the Summer Love Fest.This outdoor festival will feature performances by Yahzarah, Kimberly Nichole, Deborah Bond, Alison Carney, and lots, lots more!
