DC Jazz Festival feat. Gordon Chambers
Summer is here! How do we know? Because the festivals are in full swing. The DC Jazz Festival started June 1 and runs until June 13 throughout the Diamond City. Some events are absolutely FREE, while others are pocket friendly.
Tomorrow, be sure to catch friend to The Indiestry Gordon Chambers in an intimate, full-band setting. He’ll have surprise guests and will do a tribute to his mentor, the late Phyllis Hyman (who died 15 years ago in June of 1995).

Fun fact: Phyllis Hyman was Gordon Chambers mentor; he wrote one of his first professional songs for Hyman, thus launching his career in songwriting.
