Penn State’s annual “Movin’ On” music festival is being held Friday beginning at 10 am for the entire day. Selected bands will perform on the HUB lawn for guests that are able to listen for free. The event hosts local bands like “British Phil’ as well as popular bands like “Less Than Jake.” Each year the festival is held in celebration of the students who will be “movin’ on” as graduation approaches.
Omarion will be performing Saturday at Penn State’s “The Mezzanine Club” at 10 p.m. Opening acts will consist of local performances like the school’s RAM Squad and hip-hop artist, Maserati Mo. General tickets are on sale for $25.

The William Way LGBTA Community Center will screen the international film, “Zero Degrees of Separation” at 7 p.m. on Friday. The film shows Middle Eastern gay couples and the risks of love these interwoven stories combine.
Baltimore, MD
The Steve Pomplon Band performs Friday at 8 p.m. at Teavolve, 1401 Aliceanna Street. Dubbed as "power-folk," Steve's diverse songwriting style conjures up images of John Mayer, James Taylor, Norah Jones and Bruce Hornsby. The Steve Pomplon Band will be performing songs from their debut album, 9:31, as well as a number of new releases.

Heal A Woman to Heal A Nation, a community based organization that promotes holistic wellness for women and families through education, physical and mental health, economic and self empowerment, will hold its 7th annual conference Saturday, 9 a.m.- 5p.m. at 6000 Radecke Ave. Costs $25.
