Calling all formal verse poets! Get published in The Indiestry Magazine!

Are you a poet who likes to write in formal verse (villanelle, triolet, haiku, rondeau, sonnet, etc.)? If your answer is yes, we want you to submit poetry for the “Writer’s Block” issue of The Indiestry Magazine. Send no more than three of your poems written in formal verse to execs@theindiestry.com. Subject Line: FORM POETRY SUBMISSION.

 

Structure the body of the email accordingly:

Pen Name: S. Ann Johnson

Title of poem(s)/type of form:

 

·         Poem 1-We Wear the Mask (Rondeau)  

·         Poem 2- The House on the Hill (Villanelle)

·         Poem 3-Old Pond (Haiku)

 

Poems can be copied and pasted into the body of the email and/or sent in a MS Word attachment. The winning poems will be published in the spring 2010 issue of The Indiestry Magazine. Winners will be announced Monday, March 1, 2010.

Submission deadline: Monday, February 22, 2010.
