"Starting a Documentary Film Project"

The Writer's Center, located at 4508 Walsh St., offers an eight-session course in documentary filmmaking. The "Starting a Documentary Film Project" is a great resource for creative people who want to learn the basics of this form of artistry. The class is open to 15 students, and runs from Jan. 20 to March 10, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The cost is $285 for members and $345 for non-members. Who knows? You might be the next great indie documentary filmmaker.
