We here at The Indiestry are huge fans of Adult Swim, the late night adult animation block on Cartoon Network. The network also happens to be big fans of the independent music scene. Throughout the commercial breaks and animation bumps, you can hear music from a wide-range of independent musicians such as Madlib, Wildchild, DOOM, Oh No, J Dilla, Guilty Simpson, Wtichdoctor, and Killer Mike. To further show their love of the independent music scene, Adult Swim has teamed up with the makers of the video game, Beaterator, to create a mixtape remixing songs from well-known hip hop artists of Atlanta (which makes sense considering Adult Swim is based in Atlanta). These remixes are done by independent producers and Adult Swim recently released the mixtape through their Web site. Download link after the tracklisting:
