Catch HBO Def Poet Kelly Tsai on tour


Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai is a Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based, Chinese Taiwanese American, full-time spoken word artist. Some of you may remember her from three seasons of "Russell Simmons Presents HBO Def Poetry." Tsai is not only a performance poet, she is the creative mind behind a few indiestry films and shows, including "Black, White, Whatever (2008)" and "Real Women I Know (2009)." Through her indiestry publishing company, Moving Earth Press, she has published three chapbooks of poetry: Inside Outside Outside Inside (2004), Thought Crimes (2005), and No Sugar Please (2008).
