Black Cat is a Washington, DC nightclub that aims to supply its patrons with the best in indiestry and alternative music. Located in the historic, U Street area, the unique venue offers all-age shows and a small cafe aptly titled Food for thought.

Since Black Cat opened its doors in 1993, it has helped revitalize Washington DC's underground music scene. The venue has hosted local, national and international acts, such as The Afghan Whigs, Bloc Party, Rancid, The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and lots more.
